DESCRIPTION:
A&A Guesthouse is centrally situated close to the large Greenacres Shopping Mall, next to the Port Elizabeth golf club and within short driving distance of the renowned Port Elizabeth beachfront. It has wheelchair accessibility and is in close proximity to the 3 major hospitals in town, which make it an ideal stay over for patients and their families.
A&A Guesthouse functions on a self-catering principle with a large fully equipped kitchen, outdoor barbecue on the veranda and a small in room kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery, but no stove). Although you can self cater if you wish, we will supply breakfast and dinners on request.
Accommodation
All rooms all have en-suite-bathroom, satellite TV, Internet access, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, honesty bar, air conditioner and small safe. We have seven rooms in total.
Wheelchair 1
This room is full disability compliant. We have a specially adapted spacious bathroom with all the necessary rails and seats for the use of patients in wheelchairs. This room has 2 three quarter beds.
Executive 2
Our biggest with a balcony from where you can watch the golfers. Bath and separate shower. No smoking allowed in the room, but you are allowed to smoke on balcony if sliding door is closed. It has a queen size bed.
Executive 3
Has a bath and separate shower. No balcony, but the rest exactly as executive 2. View over golf course.
Executive 4
Spacious, sunny room. Equipped as other executive suites. No balcony.
Luxury 5
Sunny room with queen size bed and small bathroom, with just shower.
Luxury 6
Room with step in cupboard (bathroom with shower hide behind cupboard).
Family Unit
Fully equipped open plan kitchen and lounge area. The bedroom has twin beds (overlay changes it to King size bed). En suite bathroom in bedroom has shower and bath. Two sleeper couches in lounge can sleep 2 extra people.
Facilities
A large indoor heated and cold paddling pool in the garden is for the use of resident guests. Our heated indoor pool is guaranteed to soak away all your stress. We are affiliated with the Health Center next door to us with direct access. Guests can use the gym facilities of the Health Centre adjacent to the guesthouse after hours.
Facilities at the Gym
Fully equipped gym with treadmills, bicycles, Power plate and weight training at the Health Center available free to all guests until 22h00 daily. The Rehabilitation team (contracted-in with medical aids) includes Physiotherapy, Biokinetics, Occupational Therapy, Dietician, Psychology, Speech Therapy, Social Work. Alternative healers available through Health Center include Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Shiatsu Therapy. |
