DESCRIPTION:
The Algoa Bay Bed and Breakfast is a 3 Star SA Tourism graded establishment situated in the quiet Ferndale Road in Humewood, Port Elizabeth. Just four roads from the popular beachfront, Algoa Bed Bed and Breakfast caters for both the business and leisure tourism markets. The Algoa Bay Bed and Breakfast is a cost effective alternative and offers incredible value for money.
Accommodation
Facilities include off-street parking, remote gate access, separate entrances to all 11 en-suite units - which themselves consist of comfortable beds, flat screen televisions with DSTV, tea and coffee making facilities, laptop -size safes, hair dryers, free internet connections with unlimited bandwidth, clock radios, telephones and full length mirrors. The top units have a sea view of Algoa Bay as well as a view of the kilometer long King's Beach.
Facilities
The communal lounge area has a comfortable leather lounge suite, a large flat screen television with DSTV, an honesty bar as well as unlimited filter coffee available to all guests on a 24 hour a day basis.
The lounge area has a large framed picture of the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium and each room has a different framed picture depicting a well known Algoa Bay Port Elizabeth attraction. These include Hobie Beach, The Donkin Reserve, The Apple Express, Cape Recife, St Croix Island, the Port Elizabeth Harbour, the Addo Elephant National Park, Seaview Lion Farm and Amsterdam Hoek.
A small solar- heated swimming pool and braai facilities are also available. Lunches and dinners are available on request as is assistance with laundry. The Algoa Bay Bed and Breakfast has been verified by I Quad as a level 4 BBBEE contributor.
Location
The Algoa Bay Bed and Breakfast is within walking distance to a number of restaurants and also keeps a range of restaurant and take away menus on site at Reception. McDonalds, Spur, Cubana, Primi Piatti, and the Mediterranean Seafood Restaurant are amongst those eateries within walking distance.
Accreditations and Memberships
The Algoa Bay Bed and Breakfast is a member of the Port Elizabeth Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PERCCI), Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism (NMBT) and FEDHASA and also has a reciprocal arrangement with the Border Kei Chamber of Business. Regular educationals are hosted at the Establishment to allow companies and individuals to view the facilities and services offered by the Algoa Bay Bed and Breakfast. |
