DESCRIPTION:
Beach Cabanas is accredited accommodation TGCSA 3 Stars and is AA Highly Recommended. The accommodation consists of 16 self contained studio units. Eight are on ground floor leading from their patio onto the garden and eight are upstairs looking down onto a luxurious tropical garden. Between every two units there is an interleading door which may be opened if requested. i.e. for families.
Accommodation
All units are fully serviced and supplied with complimentary tea and coffee, soap, bath towels and linen. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet. A kitchenette with crockery and cutlery, pots and pans etc for three persons are also supplied. There is a microwave, two plate stove with a small oven and a fridge. We have TV with M-Net, MM1, MM2, SS1 SS2, SS3, SABC 1-2-3 and ETV.
There is a multi-speed overhead fan and fixed wall heater to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. In the cupboard is hanging space with hangers, shelves, extra blankets and a personal computerized safe. There is also a full length mirror on the inside of the door. There is a dressing type table and two chairs.
• Four units only have a double bed.
• One unit has three single beds.
• Eleven units have one double bed and one single bed.
Your own private patio has a built in braai or a portable braai can be supplied on request. There is an area information booklet supplied in each room. Hairdryers, two point plugs, irons and boards are available on request.
Breakfast
Across the garden from the units is the reception and breakfast restaurant. The restaurant serves breakfasts and makes packed lunches on request
Facilities
Wireless internet connection is available, one may just ask for the access code at the reception. We are serviced by a nearby laundromat who offers same day service at a very reasonable fee.
Although Beach Cabanas is open 24 hours a day helpful and happy staff will be found around the reception / restaurant area between 6am to 6pm. The night manager who resides on the premises is there to deal with any after hour queries.
The tropical garden which consists of giant strellitzias, palms and evergreens almost surround the restaurant and pool area. Water cascades into the pool from a large rock feature semi covered with large leaved plants and creepers. The cascading water can be heard from all the units. Well placed lights highlight the waterfall, greenery and pool at night.
The premises are secured. The guests are issued with a key allowing them in and out. Vehicle parking is off road. It is a highly visible and lit up area. Beach Cabanas is within 200 meters of the beach and within 300 meters of all possible shopping conveniences.
ATTRACTIONS
Jeffreys Bay, situated on the Sunshine Coast, offers kilometers of beautiful beaches and blue water. It is most famous for its surfing and boasts the best right hand wave in the world and hosts the World Billabong Surfing Competition.
Dolphins are a daily sighting with whales in our Bay from May to December. Seals are often seen with the occasional sighting of penguins. Jeffreys Bay is a friendly little town with many restaurants and shops. South Africa’s Billabong clothing factory is situated in the heart of “J Bay” and offers the latest fashion at hugely discounted prices. The climate is comfortably hot in summer with still warm winter days and cool nights.

Surfing, body boarding, wind and kite surfing, parasailing, canoeing, diving, kiting, rock and surf and deep sea fishing, canal cruises, golf, driving range, putt-putt, squash, tennis, bowls, sand boarding, horse riding, game viewing, bird watching, nature trails, long and cross bowing, paintball, sky diving, helicopter and aeroplane flips, enduro motor cycle trail riding. There is a fitness centre with a heated pool.
