DESCRIPTION:
La Maison Bleue is situated on Paradise Beach (between St Francis Bay and Jeffrey’s Bay), approximately 7 km from the Jeffrey’s Bay CBD and a 45 km drive from the Port Elizabeth Airport.
Accommodation
This spacious holiday house, located in a 0% crime area, offers four bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan living, dining room and kitchen area. The three of the four bedrooms have double beds and the fourth is equipped with two single beds, the house can therefore sleep eight people. Three of the bedrooms have direct access to the veranda. The en suite bathroom of the main bedroom has got a shower and bathtub. The second bathroom has got a larger than average shower.
Facilities
The fully equipped kitchen will cater for every need with microwave oven, coffee maker and tasteful cutlery and crockery that will make entertaining a breeze. The living area has got glass sliding doors that can fully open up to the veranda, which make it possible to sit on the couch and enjoy the beauty of nature and a glimpse of the ocean. An eight place dining place dining room set completes the inside of the house.
DsTV and a cleaning service twice during a one week stay are included (everyday service can be arranged on request). All bedrooms have stylish decor and bath towels and face towels will be available for each guest. You will only need your own beach towel. A Weber braai is available for a barbeque with an outdoor dining room table, chairs and big umbrella.
Activities and Attractions
Paradise Beach offers bird watching and a quiet serenity to all tired of the city rush. It is close enough to all major shops but far enough to enjoy a relaxing stay. Paradise Beach is also renowned for its great fishing spots and endless white beaches which are accessible from the house with a short two minute walk. Next to Paradise Beach is Aston Bay with a small convenience store, liquor store, laundromat and small bakery. The lagoon which you cross on your way to the house is a famous wind and kite surfing spot. Sand boarding is also a popular sport in these parts.
Jeffrey’s Bay CBD is proud of its Blue Flags Beaches and world famous surfing waves. Several international clothing brands like Billabong, Roxy and Jeep have factory shops in town. The new state of the art Fountains Mall has recently opened its doors to satisfy every shoppers needs.
The Addo Elephant Park, The Lion Park, the Tsitsikamma Reserve and the Knysna bushes are all enjoyable day trips. The Lombardini Game Reserve is a mere 7 km from paradise beach. Further along the coast you will find the small town of St Francis Bay. At the port you can watch the fishing boats and enjoy a nice lunch. This will also bring you to the Light House of Cape St Francis which is also residence of the Eastern Cape Penguin Rescue Centre.
The Blue House is the perfect getaway for a few friends or family that would like to spend a few days together and still have enough space to move around. |
