DESCRIPTION:
The Old Cash Store is situated in the heart of the Sardinia Bay conservancy, 2km from the beach. We have a beautiful venue and cozy pub and specialize in weddings, functions and bountiful buffet lunches on Sundays.
The surroundings are beautiful with paddocks and space for children to play and a lovely braai area under the milk woods. Despite being seemingly lost in the countryside and natural bush, we are situated 4km from the nearest shopping centre, 10km from town and 15 km from the international airport.
Weddings
We have been nominated by the South African Bridal Association on the recommendation of previous brides, as our many weddings have been a great success with people especially pleased with the ambience and delicious food.
The wedding venue is attractive with a lovely country feel and does not need draping, although feel free to decorate as much as you wish. The venue fee includes sole use of the entire venue (with seating in the court yard area for up to 130 with a large dance floor and which features a sliding roof for warm weather and fire places for chilly evenings), plus use of all facilities from 8.30am for setting up as well as all the staff, car guard, tables, chairs, crockery, glasses, cutlery etc. For smaller weddings the indoor venue can be hired and seats up to 60 or 40 with a dance floor.
We can run a cash bar or keep a tab as you wish. Drop in for Sunday lunch for a preview of the bountiful buffet, or for a drink and a wander in the gardens to check out the venue.
We open from 5pm on Friday and Saturday evenings or earlier for functions and weddings and from 11.30am to 3.30pm on Sundays.
We also have a small amount of accommodation at the venue.

Larger Cottage
Spacious, attractive, fully equipped, two twin bedrooms, bathroom, shower room, kitchenette, living room with two comfortable beds and a sleeper couch. The cottage is serviced daily.
