DESCRIPTION:
Oysterbay Beach Lodge is 100km west of Port Elizabeth, near Jeffrey’s Bay and Cape St Francis, on the edge of the picturesque village of Oyster Bay. We are located 40m from the Indian Ocean and a short walking distance from a 5km golden beach, coastal walking trail and some of the best fishing spots along the Tsitsikamma coastline. Oysterbay is a small coastal village in beautiful natural surroundings, still unspoiled by big developers with excellent coastal Birdlife and small game in abundance.
Oysterbay Beach Lodge has 5 en-suite bedrooms all with stunning sea views, large dining room with huge fireplace and spectacular ocean views, a loft living area with DSTV and a library for rainy days. A large wooden deck with even better sea views and a bar with a wooden deck and large LCD TV screen for Sports events and Braai/ Entertainment area to be used during good weather spells. On property parking is available and all this within casting distance from the ocean!
ACCOMMODATION
Rooms are large and luxuriously furnished with en-suite bathrooms, large baths and showers with great sea views, lie on your bed and watch the dolphins play! Sleeper couches for small children sharing with parents (under 11 years only) in all rooms. All rooms have heated panels, kettles for coffee and tea, built in safes and own porches for privacy.
BREAKFAST & DINING
Buffet style breakfast is served in the Dining Room or on the deck (weather permitting)
Ala carte lunch and dinners are served in Dining Room, deck or Bar area, specializing in fresh seafood (fish, calamari and oysters) and fresh home cooked meals.
ATTRACTIONS
The Lodge is situated within close driving distance from Addo Elephant Park (1,5 hours) and the Baviaanskloof Kloof Wilderness area (1 hour or full day round trip via Uniondale and Plettenberg Bay). The villages of Jeffreys Bay and Cape St Francis, the Tsitsikamma Coastal Park (1 hour) and the Garden Route are also within driving distance and day visits to Monkeyland, Elephant Sanctuary, Plettenberg Bay and Knysna can be arranged. Horse rides on our beach, fishing and diving excursions and transfers from Port Elizabeth Airport can also be arranged for clients.

The Lodge owner, Nick Bornman has 27 years experience in Tourism (mostly Safari Lodges and Mobile safaris in Botswana, Namibia and South Africa) speaks fluent English, Afrikaans and German and will cater for all your needs. |
