The Crest Restaurant
The Crest Restaurant with its stained glass windows, wooden beams and gothic sky feature is the perfect choice to enjoy a romantic dinner or a business breakfast. For breakfast, you can enjoy a continental buffet which includes fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, pastries from The Baker's Basket and cold meats and cheeses.
For dinner, indulge in a splendid seafood and carvery buffet including fresh salads, mouthwatering seafood, a choice of carvery meats and delectable desserts. The Crest Restaurant also serves a buffet for Sunday lunch including a seafood and salad buffet, hot soup, carvery wet dishes, garden fresh vegetables and a stunning dessert buffet.
The Verandah
The Verandah is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 07:00 until 22:00. You can watch the world pass you by while you enjoy a light meal such as tramezzins, pasta, chicken stirfry and much more. The Verandah is also well known for our cocktails, sit and relax with a classy cocktail after a long day of work or play.
WEDDINGS
The Beach Hotel in Port Elizabeth would be privileged to share this special day with you. We offer three versatile venues for your wedding:
The Tudor
The versatile Tudor is our newly renovated function room decorated in Autumn Hues with lovely French doors, making it ideal for both morning and evening wedding receptions. 75 Guests can be accommodated in the venue, however, should you require the use of our portable dance floor, the number is reduced to 50.
The Studio
The Studio is perfect for smaller more cozy receptions, and is ideal for intimate sit down dinners. The Studio can accommodate up to 16 guests.
The Crest Restaurant
The Crest Restaurant features exotic stained glass windows and a gothic sky feature. The venue is an airy modern two-level dining room and is ideal for the larger, daytime Wedding Receptions. This room is available from 12h00 until 17h00 for Day Time Wedding Receptions and from 17h00 until 23h00 for Evening Wedding Receptions. This venue can accommodate a maximum of up to 100 guests without a dance floor and 80 guests with a dance floor.
Wedding services
The Bridal Table as well as a cake and gift table can be set up according to your specifications. For your guests we have either round or trestle tables. We will supply tablecloths, serviettes and overlays to match your colour scheme if possible.
We can arrange and co-ordinate décor, flowers and the music and DJ but at an additional charge. At The Beach Hotel we pride ourselves on our excellent choice of function menus. Our menus can be tailor made according to your requirements. The Beach Hotel is fully licensed and offers you the choice of a bar in the function room or wine steward service. A cash bar, or account bar are available depending on your requirements.
