DESCRIPTION:
Welcome to the small, picturesque coastal village of Beachview - 25km outside Port Elizabeth on the Garden Route. In this quiet, tranquil world you will find Uitkyk. Uitkyk has an old-world charm, not only with regards to its decor but also in respect of its good old-fashioned hospitality. Set in a beautiful garden and with magnificent sea views, Uitkyk provides the perfect holiday haven.
An easy 5-minute walk from Uitkyk is a private, sandy beach, tidal pool and fishing area. Watch the dolphins play! Look out for the whales and see the chocca boats bobbing just behind the waves.
ACCOMMODATION
Uitkyk offers an upmarket, yet affordable, safe, well-equipped, self-catering apartment. The apartment has a lounge / entertainment area with a TV / satellite, 2 sleeper couches and sliding doors to a private patio. The kitchenette is equipped with stove, microwave, large fridge/freezer and a variety of essential electrical equipment.
There are 2 double bedrooms, one with 2 single beds, fan and Television, and the other with a double bed, fan and TV. Both bedrooms have sliding doors leading to a large deck with garden and sea views. There are also 2 bathrooms (one with bath and shower, the other with shower).
Bedding and bathroom towels are provided. A lock up garage and safe are also provided.
Enjoy a lovely undercover braai (BBQ) and small pool. The garden extends to a natural fynbos and milkwood reserve with an abundance of bird and small animal life.
NEARBY
A variety of restaurants, shops, laundrette are just minutes away. Uitkyk is ideal for businessmen or activities at the University or Technicon.
The Boardwalk, casino and city provide excellent entertainment. Uitkyk is within easy traveling distance to Shamwari, the Addo Elephant Park, Jeffrey's Bay and our local Kagga Kamma Game Park and Lion Park, which boasts the unique white lions.
